Over the years, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar made a name for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry due to his comic timing. He has been a part of many iconic movies like the Hera Pheri franchise, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhaagam Bhaag, Garam Masala, Welcome, among many others. Well, it seems like he is all set to return to the genre after being away for quite some time now. With projects like Hera Pheri 3 and Welcome To The Jungles currently in the shooting process, it was recently revealed that another one of his upcoming projects Khel Khel Mein is also a comedy caper.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein is a multi-starrer. Co-starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles, the film will be releasing on the big screens on September 6, 2024. The movie will coincide with Khiladi Kumar’s birthday, which is on September 9th. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashi Sinha, and Ajay Rai. ALSO READ: SHOCKING! Talking about the movie, Pinkvilla exclusively reports that Khel Khel Mein is a comedy of errors. While the makers of the film want to keep the rest of the details regarding the project under wraps, the plot will revolve around 3 couples. On the work front, last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar has Sarfira, Singham Again, Hera Pheri 3, and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle in his pipeline. He will also be making his debut in the Marathi film industry with Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. he will be seen essaying the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
